- The best time to watch the Ursids is between midnight and dawn. One can start watching from Dec 17 onwards till December 25.
- The Ursid shower is at its peak on the intervening night of Dec 21-22.
- Choose a place away from artificial city lights. The darker the sky, the better the view.
- No special equipment is need. Meteor showers can be seen with the naked eye.
- The shower is usually visible pan India.
- If you are lucky, you will be able to spot many shooting stars.
